“State of Fitzwalkerstan” Bingo card now available

MADISON – In advance of Governor Scott Walker’s State of the State address, a Madison Representative today announced the release of his State of Fitzwalkerstan Bingo card.

State Representative Mark Pocan (D-Madison) posted the Bingo card on his state website, www.markpocan.net.

“While other states are turning the economic corner, Wisconsin lags behind,” said Pocan. “My Bingo card will hopefully put some entertainment into what I’m sure will be a glossing over of reality in Fitzwalkerstan.”

Governor Walker previously promised to create 250,000 jobs and work with both sides of the aisle to fix our government. Yet January has been particularly tough on Governor Walker, with the Department of Workforce Development announcing their sixth consecutive month of job loss as well as recall petitions being turned in against him.

“Gloomy describes more than our winter weather forecast,” said Pocan. “I’ll be interested to see if Governor Scott Walker tackles head-on the challenges facing our state or if he will paint a rosy picture on what is clearly not a rosy state of public affairs.”

The Governor’s annual State of the State address will be covered live on Wisconsin Public Television and Wisconsin Public Radio at 7pm Wednesday night. Pocan also plans to post regularly on his Facebook and Twitter accounts throughout the night.
