Auditions for Broom Street Theater’s Iceland to be held Feb 13 and 15

Auditions for Broom Street Theater’s Iceland, written by Michael Tooher and directed by Collin Erickson and Heather Renken, will be held on two dates: February 13 at the Pinney Branch of the Madison Public Library (204 Cottage Grove Rd), and February 15 at the Goodman South Madison Branch of the Madison Public Library (2222 S Park St). Both auditions are open from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Headshots and resumes are accepted but not required. Those interested in auditioning are encouraged to prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues, each no more than two minutes in length. Monologue selections suitable for men and women will also be provided for those without prepared pieces. Actors will also be asked to read from the script during the 6 PM hour or the 7 PM hour of each audition. Please come dressed to move and with a full list of any conflicts. A calendar will be provided on the audition form for your convenience.

CHARACTERS: 1 man, age 30-65; 1 man, age 14-30; 1 woman, age 30-65; 1 woman, age 14-30; 1-3 additional men or women, ages 14-65.
SCHEDULE: Auditions on February 13 and 15 from 6 PM to 8 PM; see above for locations. Rehearsals begin February 18 at 1119 Williamson St. Performances from March 23 to April 14 every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8 PM.
