Madison Cougars Women’s Professional Tackle Football Team Advance to the Second Round IWFL Bowl Series Playoffs in Madison

The Madison Cougars advance to the second round of playoffs this Saturday July 14 facing off against the Portland, Oregon Shockwave.

These women are making football history not only in Madison but also across the Midwest while blazing the trail to a very bright future in local women’s professional sports.
The Cougars finished the regular season 6-2, in second place in the Midwest division. As a second-place finisher, the Cougars qualified for the playoffs, where they are competing against Tier II teams from other divisions across the country.
