Urban League and MMSD Partner on Filling Open Positions Job Seminar Tonight Hosted at Urban League of Greater Madison

The Urban League of Greater Madison (ULGM) and the Madison Metropolitan School District are partnering to help MMSD identify talented employees for open positions.
On Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 5pm - 8pm, the Urban League is hosting a Job Seminar with the Madison Metropolitan School District at the ULGM Center for Economic Development and Workforce Training, 2222 South Park Street, Madison, 53713.
To help interested applicants navigate their hiring process, MMSD human resources representatives will be on-hand to talk about their position openings, working at MMSD and answer questions. ULGM will also open its Computer Lab to assist anyone interested applying online.
This event, the first of several planned, is designed to strengthen the partnership between communities of color and the area’s largest employers. Working closely with MMSD on several initiatives provided us an excellent opportunity to partner on this pilot Job Seminar.
MMSD open positions include: Custodian, Educational Assistant, Special Educational Assistant, Substitute Special Educational Assistant, Food Service Worker and Substitute Secretary.
There is no cost to attend this event.
