i'm having ironic-flashbacks of "fight club". a goodly portion of souls i've crossed just so happen to be (or have at one time or another - served this 'great' nation) -- and whom have/identify now as part of the LGBTQA community. i was always secretly giddy inside when meeting this folk... especially 'on base' (when my god-daughter was born and i visited bush-country (aka texas) many years ago.

it's partially why i continue to be supportive of the people serving... not b/c of the @$$backwards orders they have to carry out in the name of 'freedom', but b/c they're people too.
